Pedalboard build for Deltron 3030

Pedalboard build for Deltron 3030

While I was building my pedalboard for a recent Deltron 3030 show, I thought it would be cool to share my efforts on a Pedals And Effects video! Since it was just a one off show, and I have to fly with the board in my luggage, the construction had to be tight, small and pack a powerful punch.

Killswitch Wars with Dwarfcraft’s Memento & CopperSound’s Telegraph Stutter

Killswitch Wars with Dwarfcraft’s Memento & CopperSound’s Telegraph Stutter

Pedals And Effects is always looking for pedals that have similar functions so we can make them a part of our “Wars” series! This week’s video is a bit of a stretch but essentially Dwarfcraft’s Memento and CopperSounds Telegraph Stutter are killswitch effects. Though very different, the Memento’s killswitch can be programmed and the Telegraph Stutter is an on the fly effect.

Show Me Your Pedalboard: Brad

 Show Me Your Pedalboard: Brad

Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry is nice and compact and comes from bass player Brad! With the Mars Volta I was using not one, not two, not three, but four huge boards in my live rig. I’m fortunate in that I was able to play in a group that allowed for radical sonic experimentation, but traveling with four huge flight cases in addition to your amps and basses is a huge pain in the ass. Not mentioning when a single pedal would go down and then having to go pedal by pedal, board by board to figure out what connection came loose. You got to find a balance and got to find what works best for you! If you gig regularly and can fit your board into your back pack it makes traveling so much easier. As cliché as it is, less really is more, let’s take a look at what Brad is rocking out with:

Looking Back: Cusack Screamer Fuzz

Looking Back: Cusack Screamer Fuzz

About a year or so ago when I was on tour with Big Sir, during our stop in Portugal a fan came by and gave me this wonderful little pedal. I’ve been so blessed and fortunate over the years to receive such wonderful things from fans and other musicians. The fan who gave this one to me thought it was a bit extreme for him. Everyone’s got their own tastes, but you know me, I’m all about extreme sounds! (Also, if you are the one who gave this to me please email me so I can give you proper credit!)

Pedal Review: Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude Analog Delay

Pedal Review: Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude Analog Delay

Fans of PedalsAndEffects know I am a big supporter and user of Fairfield Circuitry pedals. I have reviewed their Randy’s Revenge Ring Modulator and put their Four Eyes Fuzz in a Fuzz Wars and now they return with the Meet Maude Analog Delay. Of course this is no ordinary delay pedal and in typical Fairfield Circuitry fashion, Meet Maude has it’s own unique sound that makes it stand out from other delay pedals.
