F*$k@D Up Fridays with Joey Karam & The Inductor

So sometimes, on Pedals And Effects, we end up with messed up videos. You know the story…video guy has footage, loses footage, says he will look for footage and ultimately, you end up with no footage. After months of digging in the drives, I found some really great videos that, though some may seem incomplete, were really great videos in the making. Think of F*$k@D Up Fridays as a sort of blooper reel day.

We had an awesome day of shooting back in June 2015, where I asked a bunch of my friends to shoot videos for Pedals And Effects 3rd year anniversary. So many cool musicians came through and one of them is the awesome Joey Karam of One Day As Lion and The Locust! I gave Joey my Inductor Synthesizer from Portland Oregon and set Nick Reinhart up with the Keeley Absolute Würst Random Harmony Generator.

Joey blows minds in The Locust. When The Locust played at the Mars Volta curated ATP Festival a few years ago, Joey did a modular synth drop that made my eyes water. Jonathan Hischke and I literally thought he hurt us, physically, with that drop. Joey rules and so does this video.
