Earthquaker Devices: Aqueduct

If you know me, and follow me, it's no secret that I love vibrato. I've shouted it from the rooftops, I've put vibrato on absolutely everything. There's vibrato all over Mars Volta records, it's all over Big Sir records, it's a staple of my career, and my love for the effect knows no bounds. Enter Earthquaker Devices newest pedal, the Aqueduct. One of my favorite effects companies of all time, putting a unique spin on one of my favorite effects of all time. The result? Blowing the competition out of the water.

If you want my classic Juan Alderete vibrato sound, the Aqueduct can do all that. If you want a completely new take on vibrato, the Aqueduct is here to change the game. While being "vintage inspired", one of Nick's favorite things about this pedal is how unlike "classic vibrato" it can get. The Aqueduct has 8 unique modulation modes. The sounds can range from a telephone ringing, a whammy bar dip (great for non whammy instruments), micro-flange, pitch shifts, pulses, lasers, police sirens, the sky is the limit. The best part is, the pedal is super no-nonsense, and user friendly. Three knobs, one for rate/speed, depth/intensity, and switching modes.

You can tell we love this pedal because we're cheesing pretty hard in the video! We had a great time filming this and you can bet that I'm going to get some mileage out of the Aqueduct. All hail the mighty Earthquaker Devices!
