Earthquaker Devices: Disaster Transport Sr.

Earthquaker Devices: Disaster Transport Sr.

A couple of years ago, Earthquaker Devices was kind enough to send me one of their limited run Ghost Disaster pedals from 2010. The pedal has a great sounding delay, combined with a deep reverb, and I use it to dub out my bass and other effects. Since the Ghost Disaster’s run came to an end, Earthquaker Devices has put their energy into creating a pedal that gave more than it’s predecessor. That pedal is the Disaster Transport Sr.

The Gas Cooker Mic Pre/DI Review

The Gas Cooker Mic Pre/DI Review

Way way back in 2012 when Pedals And Effects was still in its infancy, I was still working out the kinks in how I was going to format my videos and reviews. And while I cover effects pedals a lot on the website, in the digital age its important to be able to accurately capture all the craziness produced by effects! Vibrato Review: Boss VB-2 vs Behringer Ultra Vibrato UV300

It is important to spread out your purchasing power when it comes to pedals.  Basic pedalboards will consist of a tuner, a compressor, a fuzz or distortion or both, a modulation pedal like a chorus or vibrato, a delay and maybe some wild pedal.  Add that up and that becomes a lot of money for us musicians.
